21.5 K Sjusjöarsloppet
1:25
PM
Rest (travel).
*Started OK, running with leader, but started to get tired and pulse getting up to 186 and more after 3K. Maintained tempo OK:ish all the way to, say 13 - 14K when I started to slow badly. At 17K to goal I was just lifting my legs in front of me and they didn't have any power at all. Avg pulse for whole race was 179 and highest was 194.
*Glen says I was low on sugar (luckily i beat him - I threw very worried glances around my shoulder at 4K to go) and that being 3min slower than last year is as it should be after 4 hard long runs in two weeks (of which 3 are races) before this one. And the week before that I was running in the mountains in Greece. Yes. Rest now.

A good run at the end of a hard period of work. The fact that you kept moving so well shows the underpinning strength. Rest by easy running for a few weeks now before starting work again.
