*"The 15K" fast: 48.57.
*Felt bad after first 2K which went in 6:25. But somehow this loop suits me very well, it's hilly, has a lot of variation and most importantly, I know it. Which makes me congratulate myself when I see that I'm faster than ever arriving to certain controll spots. I haven't checked yet but i believe the fastest time on this before today was 53 minutes.

A great run and clearly you have capacity for even more. What we do not know is how much of this effort was aerobic and how much was forcing thr anaerobic system to work over threshold to give the extra ATP. We need to do this again and analyse the pulse to see what energy systems were working and how they performed. It may be that you need to back off a little and get below threshold. Equally there may be more in the tank.
But all in all, a serious session that needs to be repeated often.
