Yes, I will start working for that now. Race on Saturday - 10K or half marathon - which do you think would be wiser to do. I would put my money on 10K - getting down a fast aerobic rhythm and trying to maintain something close to that on the half marathon on 26th. (I will have a half marathon here in Turku one week before the Seven Lakes race also).
10k. Another chance to get the feeling for the distance and endurance rhythm. Three half marathons in a short time would be overdoing it. Keep the speed work going with something quick like 12x300 one day
Focus: To finish the summer with a final spell of hard lactate tolerance & speed endurance work - and racing a couple of track races (and several road races) in order to get at least one decent result on 800 m this summer. So far only 2:02, I want to see a sub 2:00 time before winter begins.
