The grass session with Tommy was probably the best thing you have done. Repeating this sort of quality will gradually build condfidence and chemistry until you stop worrying. Get into sessions with others whenever you can now. - and look for a chase or two.
But overall you are still moving forward steadily and strongly.Races will follow.
Focus: To finish the summer with a final spell of hard lactate tolerance & speed endurance work - and racing a couple of track races (and several road races) in order to get at least one decent result on 800 m this summer. So far only 2:02, I want to see a sub 2:00 time before winter begins.
